Hard Rock came of age in the 1970's and absolutely ruled. There is no shortage of mega selling, mega talented Hard Rock bands from this era that still sell and tour to this day! Whom are the current top Hard Rock acts and is this how we should categorize them? Is Hard Rock really even a genre anymore. What do you think? And how about the 'New Wave' bands that soared right besides the Hair Bands in the 80's? Are they Rock bands or Alt/Indie acts of that time?
