A big part of the 1950's teen Rock'n'Roll revolution was aquiring their first car and then maklng that car stand out, representing how they lived or wanted to live. The 'Jalopy' teen automobiles were 1930's and 40's cars purchased cheap by 1950's teens as their first ride to freedom. Since then, Cars and Rock'n'Roll have shared a legacy, from criusin' the strip lookin' for girls to losing your virginity in the back seat while listening to 'Stairway to Heaven' on the radio.
